50NL - Pocket jacks - decision on the Turn

Villain is 65/69/1.7 over only 20 hands (so useless really)

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($11.25)
CO ($119.55)
Button ($31.50)
Hero ($46.70)
BB ($23.10)
UTG ($85.25)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Button calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP folds, CO calls $2.50, Button calls $2.50.

Flop: ($10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $5</font>, CO calls $5, Button folds.

Turn: ($20) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $10</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $20</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $40

The PFR is pretty big, but these guys where cold calling plenty, and even with the current bet size I still failed to isolate.

Anyways, the river decision:
I got a gutshot / Jack draw (4 outer - flush), and the villain is pretty deep.

But If I call it would only be for the 4 outer. Anything else and I can't see myself calling another river bet.

Im oop, so lay it down here ?

everything about this hand except the betsizing, flop should be 7.5 and subsequently turn should be $15, and if he minraises you can just fold

You should make it 4$ preflop. 3 limpers and you're OOP.
Why are you betting only 1/2 pot on the flop against two villains? Bet at least 8$.

As played, by betting 1/2 on both streets your villian might think you're weak.

I don't know why you're discounting outs. You think that the 9h/d might not be good? If so, then you're actually ahead of his range, unless he has AQhh or J9hh although I doubt the second one. As played fold, since you really don't know where you stand.

no you shouldn't make it 4$.

Bet more on the flop, check fold the turn

So how much you should make it, 3.5$ instead of 4$? Really makes a difference

check fold the turn

Really? I agree with your betsizing comments. But, just checking it gives the flush draw his free card.

Firing one more barrel, could be worthwile i think. its a value bet against someone with an 8, and is another stab at trying to win it right there and then, no?
