which level has the biggest jump in ability.
 

I was wondering what some peoples opinion's on which level has the most noticeable increase in players ability level. What level can you work your way up to without running into the games that aren't filled with great regulars. Are the 5/10 and 10/20 L08 games that much differnt from the 15/30 and up?

I would concur with this for PL08, and add that there are also reasonable jumps between $1 and $2, and $2 & 4. These are the only limits which I think have significant discrepancies.

For PLO8 I would strongly disagree about the jump from $50 PLOT to $100 PLO8...You see the same [censored] players at both levels...I have found I have to make the most adjustments when I got from $100 to $200...

My information may be dated. That is the way it was 1 1/2 years ago when i played that level. The winrate that was acheivable at $50 tables was EASILY 15 BB/100s and dropped substantially at the $100 tables. While many of the same good players populated both levels, the number of completely clueless players at the $50 level dwarfed the number that were clueless at the $100 level.

I think for it's 1/2 to 2/4 for both PL/NL and limit.

I've played easier 20/40 (and 75/150 for that matter) B&M games than the standard online 2/4 limit game. And every 2/4 PL game I've seen in the last six months has had at least one of you in it.

There is a lot of overlap in players at the levels below 2/4.
