But I cant imagine a worse hand calling/ better hand folding... esp. with that board, he beats no other ace high cept A6

hes definitely "value betting". he will sometimes get called by KQ/KJ type hands. Maybe something like A6.

It is a spot where he isnt gonna check fold, so its either check to induce a bluff... or just bet.

he decided just to bet. that is my guess, but he thinks im a fish so maybe im wrong.

already knew that, but why did you think betting had more value than inducing.

because it looked like he had exactly KQ/KJ type hands?

I'm not inducing versus any hand she has that made it to the river. Any crappy flush draws by her would've always got raised on the flop or turn, and likewise the straight draws would've too. Her preflop/flop/turn actions allow me to pretty easily narrow her hand range to almost exactly K high or ace high or pair of fours, and her K high will check the river because it will look like to her that I am either checking to induce (as you suggest I do), or that I have Q or J high and am giving up (and therefore folding). If she could have more hands on the river that are capable of being worse than mine and betting, inducing has more of an argument. Specifically against her though, I think it's a pretty big mistake to check the river unless you're doing so with the intent of folding (but I don't like folding).
