Three 3bet pot hands (NL200)

The plan from the beginning of this hand was to limp-reraise because the table was aggro and loose and I didn't want to open and then see a flop 3 to 5 ways. Is the sizing fine? What do I do on this flop? All three villains are unknowns.

BB checks, Hero ???

The villain in this hand is TomasQ. I have him at 17/7.7/3 over only 400 hands. I have seen him 3bet both AK and JJ before so I don't think he will have QQ+ much at all. However, this line seems pretty dumb to me with anything. Original raiser is pattay. I go in spurts with 3betting him semifrequently and not at all and frankly I don't remember if I was 3betting a lot at the time.

This villain is a complete unknown. The original raiser is BT2 if that matters.

Here's a bonus wtf is going on hand vs. a reg. I just called because I was fine going to the flop 3 handed and getting it in vs. the SS when he shoves. The coldcaller and then shover is AllTheWay33. I really don't know what to make of his line at all. I have him at 16.25/4.67 over 1100 hands. Can I fold this? Fistpump call? Even if I am good and hold vs. AllTheWay33 then I still only breakeven vs. a fold so that matters too.

Re: Three 3bet pot hands (NL200)

Hand 1: Meh, I just raise. As played, I'd make it around $45. Check/fold flop.

Hand 2: Meh, he doesn't seem very good. I'd put him on a set or A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], with set being more likely. Fold.

Hand 3: Call.

Hand 4: I'd 4-bet when it gets back to you. Obv call.

Re: Three 3bet pot hands (NL200)

Hand 1: Raise a little bigger check fold flop
Hand 2: This is an interesting situation, if you have a history of 3 betting this guy very often you might have to call. But that's very history and read dependent. Otherwise, fold.

Hand 3: I really don't know against an Unknown here. I think you have to call but hate it. But with a person with more 3 betting history/frustration, instacall obv.

Hand 4: everyone's gonna tell u to 4-bet here, but you obviously have your own reasons not to this time. As played you have to call. Your non 4 betting line has probably disguised your hand a bit. This line from CO has to have some kind of history from either you or the "possible" limp squeeze player? With you just flat calling that 3bet, he may see opportunity here.

Or, he was smooth calling trying to trap you.

Either way, you're right that CO's play is a bit weird. I don't think I'll ever play that kind of line with any hand. There has to be a lot of history that we don't know about if he's a regular.

Re: Three 3bet pot hands (NL200)

Eternal, in hand 4 the guy is a semi-regular but he's pretty terrible. I'd be shocked if he's a winner at NL200. He's generally passive preflop and goes too far with TP and overpair hands. I had literally never played with the limp reraiser before and unknowns usually have big hands when they do that. Personally, I'm only taking COs line with AK if I had a reason not to 3bet it, but this guy doesn't play similar to me at all.

Re: Three 3bet pot hands (NL200)

why not raise to like 50 preflop in hand 1?

Hand 2 I fold, I think he either set-mined you, or was slowplaying KK/AA.

I agree but if there's a lot of 3 betting history, this is a good flop to try to shove with AK AQ TT and possibly 88.

Re: Three 3bet pot hands (NL200)

Hand 1: check/fold or push, I think I would check and hope to see a free card. If the player just behind you bet small and the others fold I might push. I hate l/rr and even if I think it's the proper table to do it, I wouldn't do it with AKo, KK+, small pp and SCs seems much better for a l/rr.

Hand 2: such an obvious fold against him

Hand 3: instafold, he has QQ+/99/33/AIR like always and doesn't have AIR often enough.

Hand 4: as played instacall.
