Not true...if you have 2500 and someone has 11,000 in front of them, they can really bet you out of the pot alot more than if they had 2500 like you man...its just not fair

Please, please, PLEASE tell me you were levelling?

Hmmm. You're both risking 2,500. It's sort of irrelevant that he has 9,000 behind him. It's the same as a short-stack having 9,000 more in their pocket.

In effect, it's NOT IN PLAY when it's heads up.

Both big and short stacks have certain advantages, but "bullying" is way overstated.

FWIW, I was thinking of trying the 5/10 with a min-buyin, too. I could see how this might annoy folks.

Okay, well, the main thing is that I remember Daniel Negreanu once bought into the Wynn 5/10NL for $100,000 and was unbeatable..I mean it wasn't even fair...how is a $1,000 stack going to even have a chance when Negreanu can put them all in with the flick of a wrist or wave of a hand?

This one time, at band camp ...

That many posts and you still don't get it. For the love of god, read the short stack chapter of NLHTAP.

You dont understand how cash game poker works or how EV works in a cash game. Negreanu has NO advantage over the shortstacks just because he bought in for 100k.
