What are the rules for Scala?
 

Hello,

I know it's rummy like and not poker but I don't really know what forum to put this in and I figure someone here will know.

Scala is a game that's frequently played at my local club. I'd like to know the exact rules if possible. I've searched on wikipedia and google and I can find nothing. Is Scala the same as Scala Quaranta? (not that I can find exact rules on that either - just sketchy downloads)

Are there any particularly good strategies that I should use when playing?

Any help would be wonderful.
