it's coming for xbox360 and ps3 on September 11th. This game is just sick and as someone who used to skateboard, it seems like everything I could have ever wished for from a skateboard game. Graphics are great, the controls are excellent... the whole experience is extremely realistic. I think almost everyone will love it.

Just getting the word out because I haven't heard anything about it yet in this forum.

EDIT: Make sure to check out the replay feature. You can control the speed of the replay completely by using the R and L triggers (omg so sick).

This game is fantastic. I've been playing the demo for a few hours a day. It's fun to just to master a laserflip or something. This game is going to have some serious replay value.

I'm so bad at this game, you can tell it's really deep. I can't pull a nollie at all, I've played NHL for the past year where the right stick only goes back and then forward to take a shot, I haven't been able to break myself of that habit. Seems extremely deep though and would be extremely cool once you get good with the stick.

this demo is definetly really tight.. this is what you would have wanted tony hawk to evolve to a few years ago.. very cool!

I bought the game today, pretty fantastic so far. But, my real reason to bump this was to post these two videos I came across in a different forum, the rag doll physics in this game is really well done.

Hmm... my first impressions weren't that great. Seems like it's super hard to grind. Almost every time if I go in at an angle, I either overshoot the rail or eat it.

I'm a big fan of the arcade-style Tony Hawk though, so I'm a little biased [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Skate looks sweet but it seems super frustrating, I'll wait until Proving Grounds is out before I make a choice between the two.

I havent liked a skating game since TH2 and havent loved one since TH1.

TH2 > TH1, and TH3 was basically the same as TH2.... I didn't play Wasteland or w/e, but Project 8 was great.

I don't see how you can like TH2 less than TH1 and at the same time not like TH3 at all.
