Joey Chestnut 6/5
Pat Bertoletti 3/1

Joey qualified with 87 burgers, Pat with 85. Head to head they are 5-5 in various eating contests. 3/1 on Pat seems too good to pass up.

rumor has it that Bertoletti burnt the roof of his mouth Wed eating a hot pocket. that may have something to do with the 3-1 line.

Wow Pat really qualified with 85? I maxed Joey Jaws Chestnut at 3/2 odds, just because I looked at their official site and it said everyone but Joey was eating for 2nd place. I didn't realize Bertoletti was such a threat here. Oh well, I have a habit of hedging my bets when I really don't need to so I'll guess I'll ride with Jaws at 3/2. Is this thing going to be on TV like the hot dogs?

It's probably on ESPN. Also, I believe Pat has beat Joey in 3 straight coming in.

The hot pocket rumor is total BS.


He burned his mouth eating a Lean Pocket. His trainer confirmed this on ESPN 2, he is watching his weight.
