pokerstars hu tables

Ive sat down at a couple of tables now at the $50 nl games and the tables I sit at there are a lot of people just sitting out. I sat for about 30mins once and there is no expiration time for these tables for squatters. Me and some other players decided to e-mail stars and if u want to see them change this policy email stars too.

This was one of the reasons they took these down in the first place. Feel free to remind them of it.

Here is the response I received regarding this problem:

Hello LOL,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

At present, we do not have restrictions on our headsup games regarding
players being forced to play or leave. As we are in the initial stages
of rolling out headsup games, if this is deemed to be a major problem,
we will consider adding features to prevent this from being a problem.
At the present time, however, players doing this are not breaking any
rules of our site.

If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Randy

They should at least put some sort of time limit on how long one can sit out. I could understand if someone has to take a bathroom break or something and needs 5-10min. If someone is sitting out for like 20-30min. they should be kicked off the table so other people can play.

They also should get a few low buy-in heads up tables like 0.5/.10 just for the fact that many people are making a $10 buy-in at the .25/.50 tables.

With all that said I do think it is a huge plus that Stars did put heads up ring tables on there site.

I think people should be allowed to sit out as long as they want, as long as there are enough open tables. It's not like Stars has to buy a lot of extra tables from a casino-supply-store or anything, so I don't see why they don't automatically open up new tables when there aren't any empty ones.

Yeh, I think it's 1 VPP whenever the rake hits 40c.
