Bugsy\'s Million Dollar Deal steps

Hi,

I have a question about the steps tournaments in the Bugsy's Million Dollar Deal promotion ( http://www.bugsysclub.com/content/vi...iew/217/#steps ). The bottom step, the 50c one, has no rake, but steps 2 ($1.80 + 20c) and step 3 ($6.50 + 50c) do. On my bankroll I don't need to play step 1s, I'd be fine jumping in at step 2 or 3, but is there mathematically an advantage to starting at step 1 just because it has no rake?

Thanks,
Paul

Your $/hr in a 50c tournament is going to be terrible I don't care how good you are. I'd say start at the $7 one if you can afford it, less rake than the $2 one and you'll be playing higher much more quickly.

Even if you play at the 50 cent level you're still going to pay rake. All you win is a $2 token which you can only use in one of the $1.80+0.20 tourneys. Part of the prize pool is the rake for the next step. And it's not like PokerStars where you can cash out for T$.

Thanks very much for the replies, I think I'll be starting at step 3!
