Is there any etiquette rules for HU?

Wasn't sure where to put it, but i know a lot of guys here play HU, so:

Are there any non-written rules?
I've been berated and hitnrun so many times that i basically do whatever i want and do not feel obligated to anyone - if i feel like quitting after stacking someone, i will.If i feel like quitting after 15 hands when i see that i am neutral EV vs villain, i will.

I don't expect anyone to stay after busting me and those "gg, gtg" after taking 2 BI off you makes me feel even worse.

I am fairly new to HU so i am not really how things work for the rest of you, do you uphold any rules?
When do you quit a guy?

If you are playing against someone you respect and then quit it's nice to say that its because you think they are good. Also don't steal someones big blind and sit out, that's the worst really...

I am never playing against someone i know, so respect issue is irrelevant here. You mean, if i am quitting because i think, i am not +EV in the match?

I agree, stealing the blind and sitting out is terrible, but i think only Grimmstar does it.

let people(regs, fish aren't really people) know if you can only play a short time, or if you have to leave- give a 15 min notice.

also if someone doesn't want to play u when u sit, just leave and let them have the table- this way they will respect your wises in the future(say playing @ a 6m w/ a fish)

just do whatever you want.

Personally if i want to leave ill give the guy notice almost everytime unless im losing, even though 98% of the time villain will leave withuot saying anything to me i still do it

say GG
give at least 5 mins warning before you leave
respond in chat (if u can obv)
and I now really think you should respect when someone says "no thx" and just make your own table; especially cuz that guy could be 5x better then you within a few months and then [censored] with you

I usually do 10-15 minutes in advance. I don't think there's anything wrong with reverse-hit/running though if you've dropped a few BI's and are running bad.
