Standard turn/river spot, $200 NL

I thought of this hand I played a few days ago after reading this post.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...=0#Post12808204

Villain is your standard tightesh 16/14/4 reg, pretty tight pre but sufficiently aggressive both pre and postflop who seems to be able to read hands decently.

a) How terrible is this?
b) is shoving the turn better?

Basically I kind of feel like I ended up leveling myself in this hand. I was trying to rep the situation described in the linked hand, a missed turn cr followed by open shoving the river. Then again the reason I would play a strong hand that way is to get a call on the river. This makes this hand seem bad even if it is against an opponent who is probably thinking somewhat about what I'm repping here.

no way he calls this flop with QQ, JJ, TT.
I would expect AK, KK, AA here a whole lot

There are a lot of players like this that seem to peel these hands on any flop one time. Even an A/K high flop.

Vs an "obvious" button re-steal I see quite a few players peeling with 77 here...

Folding QQ-TT on this flop would be bad given that its button vs blinds and ranges are a bit wider.

MUCH MUCH MUCH prefer betting or shoving the turn if you want to bluff here. He's not going to think you were wanting to check raise the turn, which makes no sense here anyhow. He is going to figure he showed alot of weakness checking behind on the turn inducing bluffs on the river.

As played I would also prefer betting $77 on the river rather than shoving against somebody who is 'okay' at hand reading. His hand is face up and he knows it. Shoving looks like a bit less like a value bet and a bit more like a bluff unless you're representing representing a bluff and he's not going to be thinking at that level or expecting you to be thinking at that level. 77 looks alot more like you just want value from a weak made hand.

If he folded you had the best hand.

He called. Tanked for about the entire time and then flipped over jacks.
