HU very opponent dependent of course. Also depends on your image as well.

I prefer calling the flop raise since without the boat he is less likely to not likely at all call yourflop 3bet, and it lets him bluff off more chips if that's what he's doing.

Re: 1/2 HU.. Hmmm

So I'm guessing he had K-5-x-x and berated you in the chat after the hand?

This depends on what the dynamics like heads-up (i.e. were you playing tight oop?, was he playing the button aggressively?). If you're playing tight oop, he only plays back at you with K-5-x-x (or 5-5-x-x...same hand) since if he just had a King, he'd probably take a cheap turn in position.

The flop is so dry that if you do face a lot of action on this flop, you're probably behind (or up against a donkey in which case give me his screen name please!). Bet calling on flop means that if he is indeed using position, you can let him fire again on turn. If you 3-bet on flop, he would simply give up a bluff.

Re: 1/2 HU.. Hmmm

i think just calling is the best way too do it.. he will only call you with a better hand.. but you have 3x3 outs.. too a higher fullhouse.. but you can count that i of your side cards might be drawing to a split if he holds k5(q) for exampel...

Ok lets say I call the flop bet, and I hit the Q. Now what?
