$11 NLTRN: TT OOP and all-in preflop

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (2 handed)
Button (t1545)
Hero (t1455)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Button raises to t150, Hero raises to t1455

My opponent had been raising almost every single button to 3 BB. Is pushing okay here, or should I be 3-betting less? I was worried that if I didn't shove, an overcard would almost certainly fall and I'd be in a bit of trouble.

Would a better play be to 3-bet fairly large, like to 600 and then shove any flop?

It all depends on the passivity of your opponent . I know at these levels , there are many players who would call a shove with the majority of ace hands which would make you a significant favorite .

There is nothing wrong with re-raising either .

I'm usually just going for a shove because I don't like playing TT out of position with shallow stack sizes on an awkward flop. At this level you'll get called by a lot of small pairs & weak aces so try and take advantage of that.
