What To Do With $100
 

A month ago I played with $25 on FTP and did mediocre but ended up losing losing it all in the end playing $1, $2 SNG's (mostly i think because nobody respects a raise at those limits and I kept getting outdrawn.

I'm going to be depositing $100 into FTP soon and was wondering if I should go for the $10 SnG's or the 20NL.

I'm a pretty solid player given the right stakes ($10, $30 SnG).

Any suggestions?

I would stick with the cash games. In cash games you don't have to deal with winning coin flips for your whole stack.

Saying things like this will probably keep most people from taking you seriously.

Based on that, I'd recommend you start at .25-.50 limit. It'll be a slower climb, but a climb rather than a tumble. I'd guess that after a few thousand hands you'll realize how much money you are making off of people not respecting raises.

yep... cash games .25/.50 is a good suggestion. starting with
200BB, you should definitley have enough money to take some hits. playing 10$ sit SnG's with that slim of a bankroll will only make you go broke again.

if you cant control tilt stop when you begin to tilt. if you are playing well just keep playing until you feel you are no longer on your A game.

after you start winning and building a bankroll, excercise BR management, i suggest taking shots at the next limit once you have 20 or more BIs for current level, drop back down if you fall below 15 BI for your previous level.

BI=Buy-Ins

So with $100, you'd have 10 buy-ins for 10NL.

20 buy ins would be ideal.

If I were you I'd start at 05NL.
