Because I might be bored at work

Going to work all night and sometimes is gets slow enough for some 2p2. So, here is a hand just played. May be totally standard. Sorry for the crappy conversion. SB is TAG around 27/17 and BB is kinda loose dumb with some tricky streaks at 40/12.

Limit: $10/$20
6 players

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with AsJs
UTG folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6SB, 3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, BB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6BB, 3 players)
SB bets, BB calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (12BB, 3 players)

I wouldn't raise the turn.

I am trying to figure wtf SB has. Looks Ok to me, but i don't play this high.

maybe AT or A9 but preflop is weird with those.

maybe Qc9c but preflop and flop are weird.

middle suited aces (hearts) make the most sense for him (i think all other aces fold to the turn raise)

given that he called the turn raise, i don't think the river bet is good (river being a heart). i wouldn't raise the turn in the first place either. a c/r on that flop is pretty legit imo.

Turn raise is a bit too much for my taste.

I like it, SB clearly isn't good enough to give him enough respect to not pop the turn here and BB is padding the pot for you.

On what basis do we know that SB isn't very good? I am sure the results will be SB called the river with QJ or some such nonsense and your statement will look prophetic.

27/17 is sorta weak for a TAG and he coldcalled out of the SB. That's plenty for me to pop top pair.

I'm not crazy about the turn raise. I think your turn equity is too good to fold, but not good enough to open yourself up to a sickening 3bet.

DeathDonkey, how does the 27/17 part imply that the TAG is weak? do you mean a better TAG would have stats that are more like 30/20 or something?
