The Bryce seems like a very smart man.

Re: TheBryce - Rich enough - Why isnt this getting any drama?
I'm sure he's a great player etc. but something is off here. If he's made 3 million over last 3 years, and makes 80k/mo, there's no way he walks away.
Walking away from 1 million in income this year when you're net worth is 3 million is something no one does. Probably he's on downswing, sensing games getting much tougher, doubts his ability to make a million this year. Again, despite his great blog entry and well articulated point of view, i dont buy it. |

The Bryce seems like a very smart man. [/ QUOTE ] Not only that, he is preternaturally calm and debonair, he will succeed at whatever he does. |
Re: TheBryce - Rich enough - Why isnt this getting any drama?
To be honest, if his blog posts mirror his own intellectual ability even by a fraction, he should pursue something else besides the mongoloid enterprise that is professional poker. Extraordinarily well-spoken and intelligent.

Re: TheBryce - Rich enough - Why isnt this getting any drama?
Very un-pc way of saying retarded. Its refering to Down's Syndrome, not people from mongolia.

Lucky, you are wrong. [/ QUOTE ] Though I don't know Bryce in any way, his blog post did seem quite genuine. In finding what to do next, I'm wondering if he has any plans besides a course at the local university. He's right in that he's gonna have a lot more time on his hands, but even without poker there's still the temptation to do nothing but [censored] around on the computer all day. Any thoughts of doing some traveling Bryce? Not just a two weeks here two weeks there type thing, but traveling around spending however much time you want wherever you want then finding a place to plop down for a year or two. Really see things outside of home and internet poker. And not just see, as he would have the opportunity to live there, learn the language, etc. etc. |
