Europe (12/24 - 1/21): Suggestions for night life

I booked all the hostels/ hotels, European air travel, etc.... I need suggestions for night life. I know I'm going to way too many cities in a limited amount of time, but my friend was a stickler for this schedule.

12/24 - 12/27 London

12/27 - 1/1 Paris

1/1 -1/4 Barcelona

1/4 - 1/7 Venice

1/7 - 1/10 Rome

1/10 -1/15 Athens

1/15- 1/17 Berlin

1/17 - 1/20 Amsterdam

1/20 - 1/21 London

I'm looking for suggestions on nightlife; any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm also trying to figure out how to get from Amsterdam to London via ferry; I can't seem to figure out how to book a ferry. Thanks.

You can get bus tickets from Victoria bus station Eurolines I think, it goes London-Dover Dover-Calais Calais to Amsterdam, I think. Seem to remember it around 12 hours but it was a couple years ago. Nightlife is so varied I think you should talk about what type of nightlife. All-night clubs, live music, shows etc....

What types of places are you staying? How did you choose them?

Take a plane from Amsterdam to London. Losers take buses.

Ya I was wondering hostels vs hotels or whatever. Hostel are the better choice and you should ahve a blast.

Oh and flights are a way better way to go. If you know the exact dates you are traveling you can get tickets that will be half the price of bus tickets. And they will take 2 hours instead of 12. www.ryanair.com www.easyjet.com. The airport in amsterdam is super easy to get too also.

As for nightlife, I don't have any good advice. I've hosteled to all those places a couple times, and I generally just hang out with people I meet at the hostel, or go on a pub crawl or something.

My suggestions for Paris include Caberet (my favorite) or Showcase. Both charge covers, 20 Euros for Cab and 10 for Showcase. You might get different feedback from a French person, but those would be my top picks.

If anything, just party with the people from your hostel. It's a lot more fun if you can talk to people at a bar/club, rather than trying to meet locals--especially if you can't communicate with them.

My bad, I just saw that you're not a big fan of clubs. In Paris, you'd have the most luck with bars at Place de la Bastille or Rue Oberkampf.
