TR: 1st time playing live
 

i ve been playing online for a year and a half, never really had a desire to play live as it would mean i couldnt look at porn, jack off, or piss in a gatorade bottle, i'd have to wear clothes etc. i was invited to a friendly little .50/1 NL home game thats hosted by one of the radio dj's and strip club managers here in town. the buy in is uncapped and some of these guys are the wanna be baller type so most of them buy in for $200-500(whoa baller status $$$) so the game played more like 1/2 or 2/4 as far as pot sizes(i guess this is typical of live games). the main reason i went to play was that 2 of the regulars were talking [censored] to me sunday about how i wouldnt be able to read them, and that just because i won online didnt mean i would be able to hang with "real" poker players [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

my god these people were more retarded than NL25 players on party or monkeys. no sense of position, implied odds, pot control, anything really. i bought in short for $60 cuz im a nit and i really had no clue how the game would be, 3 hours later i finished with $325. got it all in pre vs my boss with QQ vs KJ(wtf yo?????). won another big pot when i turned the nut flush and got put all in against tpbk, lol. i saw people donk off stacks consistently with crappy hands like bottom 2 pair on very coordinated boards(4 straight, 4 flush, etc.

i miscounted my chips on one of the all ins, and one of the guys wisecracked that this isnt online poker(this is sparta?), you have to count your chips yourself, i said thats fine but online poker is why i have the chips, thanks(pure ownage).

dudes were talking about online being rigged, and illegal, it was pretty hilarious
