Brother lost ID...

Me and my brother were going to head down to AC this week and he lost his ID. (Wallet was stolen actually, gotta love Philly) Obviously he's over 21, and we don't want to delay the trip until after he goes to the DMV, as that's a huge pain in the ass. What, if anything, will happen to him if he gets asked for an ID and doesn't have one? Will they take his chips away, or just ask him to leave? Any input, especially from floor people would be great.

Mods - this isn't an underage post, please don't delete.

If you guys are flying you have another problem, as the airlines require a state issued ID.

Does your brother perhaps have a passport or something like that? They might take that as well.

We aren't flying, its about an hour drive from Philly. He doesn't have a passport, or even a birth certificate, thus making getting a drivers license even more difficult :P

How do you know he exists?

How over 21 is he? I've never shown ID in a casino except for a BBJ table share. Of course I'm 39, so there's no doubt about age. Assuming your brother is old enough, I'd just make sure the floor knew the ID situation before your brother buys chips.

He's like 21 and 7 months. He looks more like 19 though.

Anyone know what the floor would do if someone came up to them and said "look...I don't have any ID...umm" I'd expect them to say "okay, you can't buy chips then, please leave the casino floor."

Well I believe it's a state law here, if not a federal law that you must posess a valid state/gov id with you at all times while in a casino.

Casinos have a tendency to not pay off if you're < 21. Spin up a JP on a slot machine, no payoff since the wager is illegal. Poker rooms have a tendency to ID up front, so your brother wouldn't be out money except for the fact that he's paying to be in AC for no reason.
