raises or calls to see a flop?

If raises to how much?
Would pushing here be too much?

Now obviously villain holds a big hand, how big is the question here... so how do I usually react to his 3-bet here? Since he seems TAG and has been playing pretty straightforward, I give him at least a range of JJ+, AQ+ (for his 3bet hands, unless he 3bets light and so far he hasn't given me an idea of if he does).

I call or fold. No push no raise. If you are called after a shove you are flipping at best and I think that there is very little fodl equity in a four bet or shove. Let's call and play a flop. Use your edge put him on a range and play accordingly.

i probably fold unless I know the villian likes to just call with AA and/or KK as many TAGs do.

I definitely don't call because I need to get rid of the early raiser (MP) and he might overcall if don't show more strength. It will be lot harder to bet out on a bluff if the flop comes ugly with two players left to act behind me...

but let's say i hit the flop...how am i going to know that a TAG is betting into me with JJ or QQ if i actually hit the the flop? If I hit the flop (especially a King) and bet out i don't like how much money its going to cost me to get to the river and watch the villian turn over AA or KK or chop.

With no reads i 4 bet here every time, $4 or so and call a shove obviously. Hate calling oop here.

i'm also not a fan of coldcalling pre, either. it makes your hand somewhat transparent and allows your opponent to outplay you easilly. you can cc if you prepared to c/r shove some flops, though.

If you 4 bet to $4.50 and someone shoves there will be about $15 in the middle and you only have $5.50 effective behind. Even if his range is Q-Q+ we still have 34% equity, folding there is a major mistake.
