I think preflop is fine. Is this a good flop to c-bet? How do you play turn and river? I realize the shove is pretty horrible as we are beating pretty much nothing that calls us but I felt committed by that point.

cbet on flop is fine. that flop rarely hits anybody.

c/c on the turn seems fine to me. Even though the flop call is scary, there are still many hands that he could be calling with that you beat. You're too shallow to let this go when the turn hits your hand. So what you are trying to do now is to maximize your winnings when you are ahead. It doesn't much matter what happens when you are behind, because the villain is getting your stack anyway.

On the turn, a bet or c/r screams ace, and there aren't many or any draws that you are protecting against. So c/c seems fine to me.

On the river, you need to bet. You don't want 77 or 99 or 9Ts or A8 to get away. If the villain has you beat, he's betting the river anyway.

Have been reading the forums for a few weeks. First post, hopefully I can add something to these boards to make up for how much I'm learning.

I think the c-bet on the flop is fine. However, I'm checking that turn every time. My reason being the only hand I can see him having and calling with is a jack, AK or AT, two of which have you beat. I think he gives up a mid pp at this point. If he bets turn, I call and re-eval river.

edit: sorry, misread the hand, I thought you bet that turn...good first post, huh?

Spots like this give me trouble. If I shove and get called by a two pair, set, or straight, I feel like a donk. If I fold the turn, I feel like a weak-tight nit.

I agree with those who said lead more on the flop. I want the villains to know I really like my hand and they'll need to pay to draw.

I like betting so I'm a bit confused by the fact that I am the only person who would not c-bet this flop, sandwiched as we are between a limp-caller and a cold-caller, when nobody is going to fold a pair to one bet.

I probably check the flop but would bet a little more if I bet, without a read on UTG I dont really mind just folding (or possibly limping) this pre.

Preflop was fine but I think you need to bet more than 1/2 the pot on that flop 3way to get people out. 3k is fine.

You are not mucking your hand at this point so you might as well try to get it all in on the turn. I like a CRAI here
