How bad is this on the flop? I am getting something like 8 to 1 to call but my aces as outs are probably in other players' hands and that leaves me only with a backdoor flushdraw...

kind of standard i dont see how you fold the flop as you are roughly 7-1 to catch a RR flush or an ace.

the only thing i would do differently is mini-raise pre flop - there are a couple of SS's in the hand and they might decide to shove, which will enable you to come over the top of everyone with your stack

Thanks for the reply.

When I potted it two shortstacks would have about 1$ left after a call and I was praying that they would just push that in preflop and reopen the betting.
Generally I see a lot of players calling raises preflop and nobody ever 3 bets(besides me), that's why I just potted it.

to reopen the betting tho the shorties need to be at least to be able to make a mini raise, so they would need to be able to put at least $4.90 more in the pot over and above your raise, if they are only going $1 more then thats an underaise and wont reopen the betting

wow, really? I didn't know that. Is that rule the same with all poker sites?

because you got in 1/2 your stack preflop, and have huge odds, there's not much else to do except I'd just shove when it got to me.

If you were full stacked, it would be an easy call/fold IMO.

yes i believe its standard now, i know back in the day you used to be able to make underaises on ladbrokes, but its easily exploitable so players tend(ed) to shy away from sites alowing this
