I'll be playing at Safeco Field (that's in Seattle, folks) on September 22nd at 4 PM with players from my amateur baseball league. It looks like they stuck me on the old man team with a couple of other young kids in the division I played in, so it should be a fun time. I should get 2 innings on the hill and 3 at second base or shortstop.

With any luck, I'll sit someone down with the gyroball. Be there to support your 2+2 moderators in their tasks! I have verbal confirmation from GuyOnTilt, Entity, beset, BBKahuna, and many others who love me.

I'd be there if it was within an hour of where I live, but I just can't make the 8 hour trip, sorry. Good luck, though, and have fun playing with the fogeys, I've done it for a few years in the Eugene Men's Senior Baseball League myself, thanks to a father-son clause, and it's a blast. I'm slow as molassess when playing with people my age, but there I'm a top base stealer :P Some of them can slug, though, so make sure you don't hang a gyro [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I haven't - I've played at minor league stadiums a few times and some really nice college fields, but otherwise no.

You're in for the time of your life. I got to play a game at Bank One Ballpark, and it was incredible. Bring your camera and have someone take lots of pictures.
