Make me or MT2R or anyone a mod for sporting events

Please? Locking crap like this would be helpful:

SE is real busy on days like this and a decent number of good posters are on here a lot during football saturdays and sundays. Making one a mod would be helpful. I just think another one is needed.

What? That was an awesome thread. Where would typing-with-your-balls be without the first reply from Bones?

Also, MT2R sucks, and the jury (me) is still out on you since you want to associate with him.

(This message may or may not have been typed with my balls.)

I was just referring to people who're around a lot during high-traffic times. I really don't care if it's me or him or whoeva.

damn, I was sooo going to type a reply with my balls but the thread got locked.
That thread was hilarious and not only should have been allowed to live...I think it should have been stickied and/or bumped forever.

I don't even watch sports and that thread was golden. You should only get to be a mod if you type all bans with your balls. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] bakes

Yeah, joking aside, you have a point. The thread you linked to should probably have been locked earlier. Personally, I think such threads often are great fodder for humor, but I can certainly see the argument for locking such threads because of their trollish nature.

Also, I don't really have anything against MT2R personally, I just think he's waaaay to emotional and subjective to make a good mod...

I think KidColin would make a good mod.

I think it should be me, and I should also be made a mod of Student Life which would then create an unstoppable mod tag team of me and Mebenhoe.

My platform

SE:

1. Official threads. Official threads will only be allowed for teams, events, and games of note as decided by me. For example, official threads about the NCAAF week 9 or World Series game 3 will be allowed, but official east michigan v. west michigan will not be allowed. In addition, the correct format of these thread titles will deemed to be ***Official X Thread*** where X is the event. Exactly 3 *s on each side, no more, no less.

2. That Jessica poster will be banned asap, at least from the WS threads.

3. Spam, rant posts, etc. will be deleted.

Student Life:

1. There is a catchall thread about where you went to school, so if you go to East Northern Western Alaska State, don't start a thread looking for the three other people at your school that have an internet connection.

2. Designate an offical "School Sucks" ranting thread to combine the many on there now.

3. delete spam, porn, racism, and offers for money to do school work.

that is all.

Spam, fine. Ranting? Meh, not so much. A good rant can generate intelligent discussion, whereas a stupid rant can lead to the opposite. Discretion is needed - a 'ban all rants/ranters' policy would be too stifling.

imo
