Villain is 9/0 after 11 hands, so I really don't have a read.

Table has been pretty passive, which is why I'm raising KQo UTG+1.

Preflop: dont bet. just call
Flop: looks fine to me
Turn: i would bet more, say 2$ or even the pot (2.4$)
River: fold

I like the raise pre. I do it myself but you've got to be careful post flop with these sort of hands OOP. I don't like open limping hardly ever.

Flop: Fine
Turn: I agree with chriz that the bets a bit weak make it $2.
River: This is a fold against most villains, but I don't like it. You do see QJ or even a horribly played set here. I may call against some known to bluff but most of the time this is a flush wanting to be paid off.

Edit: without a read and as he's only played 1/11 hands just fold river.

I would Pot the Flop and Turn.

With villian's stats I fold this thinking he hit his flush.

KOo is a trapping hand to me OOP, so most of the time I muck it PF.

Flop seems fine. PSB the Turn. c/f the River

Playing KQo early is not one of my choices... I usually don't play it until MP, but you did the right thing by raising because it does not like company. Plus the table was playing passive. The only thing different I would have done is shoot a blocking bet on the river because I really want to show down this hand but not for anything close to a pot sized bet. Small made flushes will sometimes just call here afraid of a bigger flush and you don't give villain the opportunity to bluff you out. Fold to a raise though.

On the turn you didn't give him odds to chase and he still did. So you could probably pot it. Still gives him bad odds and adds value when he misses the flush on the river. When he miss the river no matter how small you bet he's not gonna call you if he has air.

Awesome. Thanks for the replies. I agree about the blocking bet. Someone else offered that piece of advice, as well.
