Tom Snyder passes away

Don't think it's been posted (I did a search).
Saw it on the CNN ticker. Evidently he had been battling Leukemia for awhile.
I was a fan and have been surfing around some of his old videos on youtube for a few minutes.

After all the chat in a different thread about how sucky late-night talk-shows are these days his passing reminds me of how much I enjoyed his cheesy ignorance a lot of the time and just how watchable his show was I thought.
He never tried to do too much with it ...meaning he didn't even seem to prepare very much for his show a lot of the time.

For those who don't know, he did the 'Tomorrow' show on NBC late-night in the 70's and early 80's which was after the Tonight Show.
Often-times having very little clue about the punk-rocker or other guests he was interviewing like the Clash, Iggy Pop, Kiss, etc.

He then did the Late Late Show on CBS in the 90's before it was taken over by Craig Kilborn and than Craig Ferguson.

His interview with Charles Manson was an all-time classic.

Heh. If you have to ask...

Actually I think Boro was going for straight up funny as the line was a little to obvious for leveling. But if you want to consider yourself leveled that's cool too.
