Beating local 1/2 B&M game

Just wondering if any1 here is beating any live 1/2 games, or can tell me what to expect at this level.

*The game is 100 max buy in w/ a rake at 6$ every half hour.

What do you think the minimal/optimal bankroll requirements are, and also, what kind of profits can you expect or hope for?

Thank you for any input.

i play a 1/2 live game but it has a 300 max. Sounds like yours is harder b/c of the 50 bb and the rake every hour. I dont think you should play in this game

the rake is so expensive esp that you only have 50bb to play with. So tight isnt an optimal strategy, i would say try to double up off your hand asap. UNtil you develop a stack you can play with.

Yes, it was the rake that really concerned me, making 6BB/hr just to break even with it. Does any1 else think that this game is a waste of time, and more or less unbeatable?

I think the game is beatable because the players are so horrible, they never fold if they have any kind of pair or draw. Where I play they have the same game but you can buy in for another stack if your stack is $50 or less(I think that was it) on the table, so you can put $56 up, pay the time charge then throw another $100 up.

The buy in does suck, but its the only choice you have what can ya do.
