Do you have some reads that you aren't telling us about?

Hand 1 is terrible, a pair and a flush draw is a very strong hand. Lead the turn, only fold to the most severe pressure. As played call turn.

Hand 2 call river.

Hand 1: Bet turn. The A is as likely to be a scare card for him as it is for you. Re-eval if he raises.

Hand 2: Call river. You're still beating most of his range (random PP) and the A is not likely to have helped him. He's given you cheap odds to see a showdown, take them. If he'd bet pot or so it would be a much more difficult call.
