25/50 Ugly preflop spot with AK

Original opener is WhinnePie. Villain is play2kill. We're 200BB deep. I don't like any of the options. If I 4bet I probably have to fold to a 5bet. If I call I'm oop with a lot of money left to play. Folding AK preflop isn't allowed, right?

whatever you do, definitely don't fold. You can't really get away with raise/calling here, but despite this fact I don't actually hate a 4-bet.

I think call is fine.

without knowing anything about the villains, i'd say call. he won't put us on AK, so we stand to make some bets when we get there, and have some bluffing potential on medium boards if we want it.

play2kill is a good LAG who squeezes very frequently, especially in a stack situation like this one. He is capable of light 4 bets as well, especially when he is not the original raiser. However I think its very unlikely that he 5-bets a 4 bet here light, so like Ike said we can't really play for stacks.

ugh i hate calling w/ AK in spots like these for obvious reverse implied odds reasons, though I think calling is clearly better than the alternatives.
