Spewy McSpewalot or Mr. Hot Semibluf?

Villian seems like a solid tag, but not a lot of hands. 17/14/4. Im 34/24ish at this moment but haven't been playing super lag post or anything.

Raw spewage. You're giving him like 2.5 to 1 and if he's been paying attention he'd notice you aren't the most reputable chap at the table at 34/24.

I've learned that it is unprofitable to get people to fold overpairs. Also, that bet looks very strong, and he has a set quite often on this dry board. Only bad tags will regularly fire 2 barrels here with AK or something, and you never get called by worse. So I don't get this play. I'd also fold preflop, and occasionally reraise.

i think his hand is a pretty obvious overpair here, so if you think he folds to the turn shove enough to make 9 outs profitable then cool.

i would prefer a raise to 30 on the flop. if he calls i guess he doesn't believe you have a set and i would just check a blank turn and look for 8, 7, 6 on river.

Betting this big and folding turn with an overpair is dumb, and I doubt that anyone who bets this hard on the turn with overpair folds, ever.
