call or raise on the flop? and call or cap on the turn?

SB is 24.24/20.84/2.9,2.5,2.1 850 hds

Preflop: Hero is MP with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, HERO calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, HERO calls.

Flop: (5 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, HERO calls.

I flopped the straight, but decided to call and just wait for the turn to raise for double the bet size. Since villian is pretty aggro, I wanted him to bet into me on the turn, while I then raise him.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">HERO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, HERO ???

So now, seems like that is a bad turn card for me. Advice?

cap and if he leads the river just call

I dont mind your flop call as you had position on the aggro villain and you were heads up.

I would call down from villain's turn 3-bet as the flush draw just got there and his 3-bet does represent some strength.

if he's aggro he could easily have an overpair with the ad or kd imo

Very true. His pf raising stats looked very high to me, but his postflop agression seemed more reasonable, although I suppose 850 is not that many hands.

I agree, this guy is so aggressive that his three-bet heads up could easily be pair+FD.

Just to let you guys know, i called his raise, and Jd came on the flop, and he bet out. What would be more appropriate to do? Fold or call?

I'd fold with a 4th diamond. He might be bluffing it, but probably not, especially given his turn aggression.

I think pf is bad and I disslike the flop a lot. There are plenty of draws your opp may have or put you on. And many second best hand your opp can 3-bet with. Calling is missing almost an etire street of value. Also your line is more likely to produce a fold before show-down.

Re: call or raise on the flop? and call or cap on the turn?

Preflop: Fold. Open-limping in 6-max is bad. Open-limping from MP is especially bad. Open-limping a middle suited-connecter is super-duper bad. I can see raising this based on reads, but limping is just ugly. Fold &gt; Raise &gt;&gt;&gt; Call.

Flop: The usual way I play this hand is to get a few extra bets in on the flop. My TAG opponent will recognize that I am also a TAG, and he'll often put me on a semibluff or free card play when I raise this flop. He'll often 3-bet the flop (awesome) and then lead the turn into me (doubleplus awesome). Notice that raising the flop looks weaker than calling the flop and raising the turn, so I'm also more likely to get called down by hands like top pair or middle pair.

Turn: Your line represents a monster, so villain's 3-bet isn't good news. Still, I think this is two pair or a set more often than a flush, so I'd go ahead and cap. If villain leads the river after a cap, I would just call.
