iPoker ending rakeback for new users - again ???

We are hearing rumours that iPoker are thinking about ending rakeback for new users…again!

We have not received direct confirmation of this from our current iPoker room, but if is true then it will only be a matter of time before we receive notification.

As is usual with these situations, we would advise anyone who does not yet have an iPoker account to create one with an iPoker room through an affiliate in case you ever need it in the future.

Unfortunately if you already have an iPoker account at another room you will be unable to get rakeback with another skin as iPoker have a single network account policy.

We do not know what, if any effect, this will have on existing iPoker rakeback accounts.

Please fee free to pass this information on to your friends and family so that they too can take advantage of the offer.

Best wishes,

Hi Sniper,

Sorry, we need to get in to the habbit of pointing out what is available to the US and what is not.

Yes, we believe that it is a newtork wide policy.

We were told yesturday its over (again) and that they would be "Fining" people who still offer rakeback. I am not sure if they will be taking up matters with the affiliates, the sites etc.. But supposedly they are going to be more strict this time around. I am not sure what ipoker is thinking through all of this.. rakeback, no rakeback, rakeback, no rakeback.

Oh well

Received the information about ending Rakeback too. It seems they are very interested in "long term partnerships" with the affiliates. Rakeback Yes, No, Yes, No .. guess what comes next.

Just received this....

[ QUOTE ]
Effective 00:00 EST on Nov. 7th, 2006, Titan Poker will no longer offer rakeback of any kind to new players. While rakeback offers to existing players and affiliates will be honored for the lifetime of the players, we ask that you remove all marketing material related to Titan Poker rakeback offers from your sites immediately.

[/ QUOTE ]

So it seems like everyone has 11 hours to get signed up at iPoker

Skins include:

KiwiPoker
CDPoker
Noble
Titan

Kind regards

That may be true but, what is to stop affiliates from offering Noble privatly considering it was never automated.

Reduction talked about fines for affiliates - these may possibly also extend to the poker rooms(?), so they will also be encouraged to weed our "rogue" affiliates

Yuk. What a joke this whole situation is. iPoker must be run by monkeys.
