3 Bet pot bluff time

Villain is a taggy regular who 3 bets light and often. Dont comment on pf as my hand doesnt even matter anymore at this point. Thoughts on flop or is it just spew? If you think its spew why and what board would you rather do it on? Oh FWIW I run at 17/15.

if you are going to do this on the flop, why not on a flop with say two hearts? This at least gives you an out.

Re: 3 Bet pot bluff time

Because if I wait for a board with two hearts then I might as well fold pf as I wont get that board often enough

seems all rigt if you think he folds like AQ, b/c many people that call themselves tags at unl stack off there with any piece of the flop

Im fairly confident he lets go of AQ, I havent gotten out of line and he doesnt seem to stack off light, just plays back alot.

Re: 3 Bet pot bluff time

well this imo is really player dependant as long as he doesn´t stack off with AQ,AJ or even less likely 1010 or JJ then this is if his 3beting range is wide enough.

His call pfr is around 3.5 but he folds his blinds about 72% of the time each. As far as stacking off light, I dont see any reason why he would stack off with mid pair here. I have a nitty taggy image. If he has PT, which Im sure alot of regs do, he should have me at 17/15/3.5 or so.

Re: 3 Bet pot bluff time

If he 3bet light(hes range is 33+,J/10+)
If he c-bet light after u call,hes range,imo is 99+,A/10+ plus one pair with Q/10 and SD with J/10, to make it short,you ev when he c-bet light PF and c-bet light alot on this flop is:

ev=0.5*27.25+0.5*((27.25+32.05)*0.19-0.81*43.05)=+1.31

This si if he folds anything exept QQ+,KQ,set or str8 draw

How light is this guy 3-betting? 3-betting is usually AQ+/JJ+ in the 50NL games I play. Sometimes garbage as well.

I think I would c/f the flop because KQx hits a lot of his range and you don't seem to be representing any hand I can think of. Maybe 44? You would probably 4-bet with most of the hands that would scare him.

I would concentrate on playing hands against the bad players at the table, not this guy.

How do you discern this line from AK, KK, or QQ?
