Getting GSN on Comcast in Certain Areas
 

Does anyone else have this problem? No GSN network? I'm stuck with GAS, that's it, no GSN, no poker which now means no HSP + WPT.

Is there anything we can do as a community? Write comcast? How many areas are affected by this issue?

Sorry if this has been posted before or if this is the wrong forum or if it's just a problem locally here in Philadelphia.

Let me know if anyone has thoughts or even cares.

I used to get GSN on comcast here in the philly area, but when they updated the channels they took it off, you have to get comcast digital I think.

I just recently moved from Woburn to Wakefield and am experiencing the same problem. WTF is that? Im like 3 exits up the hgwy and dont have GSN. I tried emailing/calling them about it but apparently you dont need any formal education to work for Comcast. Ugh.

I have digital cable and its not on my lineup.

I have Comcast digital cable out of Concord, NH and I get GSN. However, it's not listed as GSN in the programming guide. It just says "Local Access Programming" and is channel 068.

You might want to just click around and see if you can find it.

It was the same thing in Woburn. I've tried just about all the channels here in Wakefield, and no luck yet. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

I have digital cable as well.

I'll look through LAP on the guide, thanks for the advice.

You can log on to gsn.com and type in your zip code and it will let you know where and if GSN is on your local cable system. Often basic cable does not carry it, and you have to upgrade to a digital tier to receive it.

Those are my results for 19123 in Philly. I don't get it on comcast. Comcast, for the most part, is absolute crap, its workers are crap, and its a terrible company.
