I have ~25k left and although there's a ton of money in the pot and I have an overpair, I really don't see much that I can be ahead of, 1010/22/66/QQ-AA are all way ahead of me, I basically have to hope that he has a diamond draw or would do this with 77-99. I'm not 100% sure why I bet 12k on the flop, I figured ~40% flop bet would be enough to push out any hands that missed or that were behind me pf but it gives me a decision to make, should I just be firing a pot commiting bet on the flop?

In hindsight I kinda wish I woulda limped preflop so if the shorties shove then I can iso shove.

If you are even thinking about folding to a raise why would you bet 12k into an 'empty' sidepot?

I don't expect him to be flat calling big pairs that often with the short stack all in and your 5000 already in there. Seems like most of the time they'll iso pre with that much in. That makes me want to say get it in on the flop.

This seems correct, the likelihood of a bigger pair is very low. OTOH, you look very strong, you're betting the flop into 2 people with 2 all-ins, plus putting in a big chunk of your stack (which looks to Villain like you're pot-committed) and he's raising you, which you have to believe means he thinks his hand is good against everybody, which looks very much like a set. I think I'd fold.

Whether to bet the flop is close -- you're likely best against the two players still in the pot, but the presence of the 2 all-ins means your hand could already be behind, and is going to have to hold up anyway. I have no clue what the best course of action is there.

This is one of the strangest hands I've ever seen preflop.

While the likelihood of huge PP isn't that great, it's not negligible either. Many players overvalue these hands and want to "build pot" w/ them. On the flip side, w/o a significant read, it's definitely possible he has something like a10,q10s, or a decent draw. Either way, I don't think ur getting enough pot odds here to call against his range. Fold. By the way, you can't limp jj preflop here given ur stack size and as previously posted, don't bet out into empty side pot w/ intention of folding to significant heat.

ok, in regards to betting the "empty" sidepot, there's still 30k in the main pot and considering the two shorties had 2.5 BBs, I have to assume that given flop i'm ahead of them so can I really check the flop and allow an overcard to hit the turn when I'm OOP?
