I live in Tulsa, about 100 miles from OKC. I've never played poker there, but I know there are 2 or 3 casinos that have poker rooms there. I think the biggest on is the Riverwind Casino. Website says they have 23 tables there. I'm not sure of the games they spread. Call them and ask 405-322-6000

depending on what part of okc you live in Firelake and Riverwind are both about a 30-40 minute drive and are the nicer casinos.

newcastle and luckystar are both 20 minute or so drive from most places in the city and have smaller poker rooms but lucky star seems to have a lot of action in the 2/5 games

Here's the rundown:

For smack dab in the middle of OKC, Riverwind, Newcastle and Luckystar casinos are the closest. Firelake is a little further, but it's worth a visit.

Riverwind is the easiest to get to. Drive exactly 20 miles south on I-35 and you're there (just on the southernmost edge of Norman), right off of the interstate. This is the best poker casino in the metro area. There is ALWAYS a 1/2 and/or 3/6 game going, pretty much anytime day or night. They have tournaments every single day except Sat. and on some days several tournaments. They hold BIG tournaments every once in a while ($1100 buy in)You'll find anywhere from super horrible players to really competent players there. On a Saturday night after OU home football games, you should walk out of the casino with no less than 7623 X your buy-in. All things considered not a bad casino at all for poker players.

Newcastle is kinda easy to get to also, take I-44 towards Lawton, and it's right off of the interstate in Newcastle. It's a smaller room than Riverwind, but with similar games/tournaments/etc. It's run by the same tribe as Riverwind. Riverwind is actually only about 10 minutes away, so you could stop in and check both casinos out on the same day.

Luckystar is west of OKC off of I-40. It's kinda tricky to get to, but once you've found your way there once, it's a breeze in the future. Not so many tables (10?), and usually packed with young-gun types (20%) or old nits (80%). The games are juicy, though. If you're any good, you should be able to crush any table there, as a general rule.

Firelake is kind of a blend of the two, in almost all respects. It's further than the other two, so I'd recommend to play there only if you fall in love with it for some reason.

The biggest room is 125 miles south at the Texas-Oklahoma border. If you just HAVE to have 400 other people playing around you on a Saturday night, maybe it's an option.

wtf dude, oklahoma?
theres some good advice in here already, just also wanted to add that winstar just over the ok/tx border has some great action. They spread 1/2-5/10nl and some plo and o/8 occassionally. The poker room is only a month or two old and nicely done. prolly 1.5hrs from okc, but im not sure, fwiw its about 1hr from dallas.
