I sure hope this movie is a hit. Artie deserves it. The Stern show seemed empty for a long time after Jackie split and Artie breathed new life into it. The drama between Dana and him has been great.

Off-topic, but one of the best laughs I've had since getting Sirius was when the gang was talking about some new ipod-type thing Sirius is developing. Artie raves about it- exclaiming that you can take it anywhere.

Howard points out that Artie won't be taking it to Dana's.

I think it looks great because there hasn't been a comedy like this come out in awhile. Things are too tame nowadays.

agreed. it'll probably be enjoyable, but i've already seen old school, and I've already seen bad news bears.

Old School is represtentative of the tame comedies we've seen over the past few years like wedding Crashers, 40 year old virgin, etc. When was the last time there was a major comedy that wasn't just a hit becuase it was the only comedy out that year? Austin Powers 2/3?


ps. not saying this movie looks outstanding yet, reserving judgement, blah blah blah. but I do love Artie.
