The state of Limit HU?

I have recently started playing a little limit HU and have been keeping an eye on this forum. However, I have noticed that there seems to be almost no posts on limit HU. I know NL is more popular than limit in almost every form, so I would expect there to be a lot more NL posts. But, NL seems to totally dominate. I then possibly incorrectly assume that not many people here are playing limit HU and was just wondering if anyone could fill me in on the reasons and what the general state on limit HU play online is. Thanks

The day that Leader went to San Diego was the day that the limit died.

I play HU limit as pretty much my only holdem game right now, but I never really have anything to post about it, because limit hands are usually kind of boring.

I don't have my finger on the pulse of HU LHE across the net or anything, but my little corner of it goes quite well. I avoid even the bad aggressive players most of the time, because the supply of passives is pretty high.

I am decent at HU limit. but the profit is in NL. I will reply to OPs about HU LHE hands but I don't play the game anymore.

Best advice I can give you is to check in at the microlimit forum and join the next HULA league whenever it starts. You will be able to practice against good players for a $30 entry fee.

I concur. HULA was a lot of help to me back in the day.

My sense is that HU limit is totally overrun by bots.

yeah yeah...:p

Posts on HU limit usually get some good replies. A lot of very good HU players surf by this forum daily. I try to reply to all of them when I have time. Just do a search for LIMCASH in the subject. There's plenty of good stuff in this forum. I've posted some sessions as have others. Feel free to bump the old stuff if you have questions. Post some hands to.

Also limit hands aren't boring.

And the games aren't overrun with bots.

Nit's get their asses kicked at HU limit too. Bring on the nits.

k I got to sleep. Early day at the beach tomorrow.

There was a thread in Mid-High that talked about the prevalence of bots in HU limit, and listed a number of bots from Mr.Gatorade's site. There was some debate over how many of them were bots, but general agreement that most of them were. Someone pointed out that those usernames had been involved in 60% of the overall headsup hands played.

So it seems like you're taking quite a risk unless you've got a good exploit to beat bots or a good knowledge that your opponent is real.

datamine FTW. Then play opponents who are bad, real or fake.
