200NL: Overs and NFD vs solid...

Villain is 21/13/8 over 200 hands or so and I was running @ 19/15/4. What range do we give villain and what's our best line on the flop?

Shrug, I usually 3 bet / call this.

Another good line to take especially if you think he is FOS is to call and shove over his turn bet.

Call and shove over turn bet is super sexy.

I'm still new up at 200NL so I really wasn't sure whether to try and get it all in here on the flop or to see a turn card.

Here is the next step:

BB checks, Hero bets $12.00, BB raises to $42.00, Hero calls $30.00

Turn: ($101) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero ???

If we bet, the turn and he c/r's can we call getting 2:1 having picked up 3 more possible outs?

Worst turn card ever. I almost always check here, but I might be doing it wrong

Bet bet bet the turn plz, I'd make it $85. People rarely ever go for the double c/r and he doesn't have 9x ever anyways. He probably just has air or like 77 which folds on the turn to a bet.

If he shoves I'd call, btw.

RLY? I check for the reason no one ever ever ever folds any pair to me here and we're already ahead of air, and may get one more bluff out of him if we hit.

Re: 200NL: Overs and NFD vs solid...

The big questions, imo, are to:

1) call the flop c/r or 3bet it

2)check behind the turn or bet/call a shove

I thought this hand had a couple of interesting spots here.

So far, we have half saying bet the turn and the other half saying ck behind...

others thoughts?

Re: 200NL: Overs and NFD vs solid...

depends what type of player he is. how often he can c/r very light, how often he follows up turn w/ a bet w/ air, if he checks made hands on turn.

gambling it on flop is always cool. like others have said if he is messing around too much you can call and bring the pain on the turn. when he checks turn i like a bet/call since if he's chk'ing again it's usually to give up or c/r w/ a worse draw and i don't like having to give up this pot when river bricks a lot of the time.

Re: 200NL: Overs and NFD vs solid...

When he checks again on the turn I'm pretty sure he has either air, a weak pair like 77, or maybe a flush draw.

People never go for the double c/r so I think I'd bet here and feel pretty good about it.
