sorta brag, sorta cry for help

I am doing really badly at 3 - 10 handed, but killing hu. I used to be a full ring guy so I thought some of my nittiness would carry over and I would do better the more players there are. I have talked to two other people who are experiencing a similar thing, one of whom has quite a large sample. He is also running around -.4 at 4-6 handed and 6 at hu.

Is it possible the player pool overall is playing better 6max, and not so good hu? FWIW I feel my hu sample is decent sized since it takes less long for those results to converge.

Here are my last 70k hands or so.

After seeing that 34% WTSD I now am sure that I am a showdown monkey and why you check the QQ in the previous thread and I lead bet it.

Actually checking the QQ hand would make me go to showdown more often than betting it, don,t you think?

Only stat that I see that may indicate something is your wtsd. It is low which could be because your running bad but if you notice that in the 30 game your won at show is 58%. you are winning at that level but that # is just not sustainable so it makes me think that overall you need to get your ass to showdown a little more and that may be combo of calling down more and getting called down more. The HU results are impressive.

Good luck.

It is pretty hard to draw conclusions on the stats where you want us to since it is filtered "3-10 handed." We need to see things like 4-6 handed, and 7-10 handed. Blending in all that data is for the most part useless. Fairly small samples HU but it looks promising!

I noticed a very similar trend in 2-3 handed play vs. 4-6 handed play in my database. That was when I played primarily 5/10 and lower. That trend has dissappeared as my sample size grew and I started playing higher limits.

You seem to really know when to fold HU.

The avg player at 6m is pretty good now imo even at 10 games. I would not be surprised if even the best players had only a 1BB winrate over 200K+ samples. I don't table select much tho -- and that is probably more important now than ever.
