The whole magazine has the typical american way of 99% of pages being ads, so I don't think Cooke's ads are such a big deal. |

He used to be a full time player but simply didn't want that life. He was a regular in the Bellagio 30-60 game for years. I'm not sure what he plays now. He started working in real estate years ago (presumably for a steady income and less stress) and plays poker recreationally. I believe Mason gave really good reviews to Cooke's two books. |

I read the article too. It was handed to me by a friend of mine. I wasn't going to mention it since it's my policy not to give Card Player any free publicity, but here goes. This is simply one of the worse articles that I ever read, and Cooke certainly understands poker much better than this. Anyway, I'll let others elaborate. Best wishes, Mason |
