Without reads i probably just call, then see what villain does on the flop. Raising to around $4.50 and folding to a push isn't terrible though

Eh, I probably just call for set value here.

Without reads and UTG+1 raising I agree that a call is ok.

+1 to calling here. Also, why is your stack $19.30? Please rebuy back in full so you can maximize your profit when you hit a set.

Yeah I ended up calling, flop came like AQx and caller bets the pot, fold

Heres another spot that I thought was wierd...

I thought if he had AA/KK he wouldnt 3bet so large, if you take AA/KK out of his range, do you think he folds to a shove? I have been pretty aggressive at the table w/ 1 or 2 bluffs gone wrong lol

Re: JJ facing EP raise and caller ???

Out of position against a raiser and a caller, I'm likely to fold here. It seems really weak tight, but people don't 3bet all that often at 25NL. I'd put his range as JJ+/AK. That considered, what follows tends to have negative implied odds. Examples are

He has QQ/JJ: He's probably not paying you much if you hit, but on a low flop they're gonna get aggro and you'll be OOP either folding, or chasing 6 outs.

He has KK/AA: You both hit, and you potentially lose your entire stack to his set. Or there's a low flop and you're folding.

He has AK/AQ: Your opponent has the same (or a dominated hand) but also has initiative (since he reraised you) and position. If you check, they may put you on your exact hand and steal the pot away. If you bet out and get raised, you're left wondering if they have a set or AK. It's a very tough spot to be in and opponent has too many advantages, so I fold.

Of course, if villain is raise-happy preflop, I'd 4bet him all day.

naw this is first time I've actually seen him raise anybody so of course I say screw it and shove and flips over AA, oh well
