Pocket 9\'s poll

There are 23 players left and our hero has 12x the BB in the cutoff. Blinds are 200/400, so hero has 4,800. The UTG player has our hero covered with 17x the BB and he opens for 2x the BB (800) and it folds to our hero. The BB has 15x and SB has 10x BB. What is your pre-flop play and why? Online or live? Reads on UTG player? Reads on Button, SB and BB? Is 2xPFR standard? Your table image (if any).

Aw crap. I missed the KK, QQ, JJ and TT polls. Are we already on the 9's?

I know this is kind of a dumb post, but I have two friends that are advocating a play that I think they know is pretty poor just for arguments sake. It's online by the way.

Re: Pocket 9\'s poll

The player occasionally raises in early position less than the standard 3x. It is online without much more insight to the players.
