How would you guys have played this hand?

BB checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls, BB calls, UTG folds.

Turn: (3.70 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

If he's as passive as his stats suggest I think you can fold the turn here.

Using a dogmatic approach like this to the preflop decision is a mistake IMO. Plenty of spots where you can overlimp 1 limper. In particular with hands like low middle suited connectors or weakish off suit broadways like JT. And in particular if there are loose players behind you.

But yeah taking a raise/fold approach is not a huge mistake and surely the simplest way to go about it.


@OP

I cant fold the turn vs an idiot. You are getting close to 7:1 with 4 pretty good outs. Add to that the times he has Ax with some redraw.

This is a standard call down for me.

Easy fold on the turn! The main reason is low aggression of button!
