What's with the near minraise on the turn?

Raise more on the turn, snap call the river.

As played, I call the river, but I'm not happy about it.

Any reads on Villian? AJ/AT are a large part of the average Villian's range for open-raising from the SB. With the action on the turn it's hard to put Villian on a lone J. It really looks like he has 2-pair or less likely a set on the turn, and then fills up. Any kind of read would be very helpful. I think the chances of this being a bluff is very low. Getting 2-1 I still think you have to fold.

Edit - And I agree with bored that you need to raise more on the turn if you're going to raise.

His line makes no sense, he should be betting the flop with AJ. If he's bad enough to go for a check raise on the turn he's bad enough to hold KQ here. By the same token he's also bad enough to hold any boat ( AA/AJ/TT,33,JJ/TJ).

It's very close, you're calling 17.7 to win 37.90. You need to be good ~45% here.

You only have about 30% equity against TJ/KQ.

I think this is a fold. Can't see AK/AQ/Jx making this sort of play.

Agree with raising this turn for more. By letting him call, you're allowing him to play perfectly.

What are we beating? I usually give unknowns with full stacks credit on these kinds of boards. Donks usually try and bluff you on lowish boards but hardly ever on this scary a board.

I'd come out with a much larger turn range, and I'd have to call the river.
Did he try to get sneaky with AA or 1010?
