Live hand, currency is Swedish crowns. $1 ~ 7 SEK so blinds is about $1.5/$1.5.

Villian in this hand is a good, experienced live player. He play mostly tournaments. He is pretty tight/selective and good at reading opponents and not afraid of making pretty big calls or laydowns.

He pretty often take passive lines with TP and overpair kindof hands.

He should view me as pretty tight and think he assume I have the goods the very most times when big money goes in the pot.

Hero (BB): 5.3k
Villian (UTG): 5.3k
The other players have 4-7k

10/10, 5 handed

Villian raises to 50, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, Hero raises to 400, Villian thinks for like 30 seconds and calls, 3 folds

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (950)
Hero checks, Villian checks pretty quickly

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (950)
Hero bets 800, Villian thinks for like 30 seconds and calls

River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2550)

Should I check or bet, if I bet, what amount should I bet?

Comments on all streets (incl preflop) are very welcome.

I would bet the flop, you fold out a lot of hands.

On the turn, I am unsure what you are representing? A missed flop CR with a great hand, or a medium strenght hand that realizes it may be good? I think once he calls turn, he is probably willing to call a blank turn, so I dont fire again on river as played.

Is this in a Swedish casino? ( I am from Copenhagen myself)

I would fire $2,000 or so, maybe $1,900. If he calls I expect him to flip over TT or JJ.

i don't really ever attempt bluffs when i didn't bet the flop when i *should* have bet it

not only do they never believe you, but you don't get to exert enough pressure on them since they only have to call two streets to showdown

Yeah I think flop is an obvious bet. River I think I check, you've represented your hand badly, are you supposed to have the nut flush or what?

I played 10-20 SEK NLHE I think it was at the casino in Stockholm when I was there about a month ago. I would have played again the next night, but they wouldn't let me in on the grounds that I was drunk [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

if your image is tight then pf squeeze is good, if think you will get callers, then just wait till you have a good hand and then raise to $400.

for me pf squeeze is entirely dependent on the other players.

in retrospect its probably much better to squeeze with a hand like 54s in pos than OOP when the chance/risk of getting called is quite big when putting in about 8% of the stacks?
