Cheapest no frills trading

All I need is a cheap way to trade stocks. I don't need any information, just a monkey to push a button and bam I have 500 shares of Petroleo Brasileo.

I'll probobly invest about $8,000-$9,000 and do maybe one trade a month.

There has to be a brokerage that doesn't do many ads but everyone educated knows about.

Wells Fargo (min $25k) and Zecco (min $2.5k) both offer free trades. Bank of America does as well, but BofA requires $25k in checking/low-interest savings which makes the deal worthless.

I'm looking to ditch Etrade and move to a different online broker, myself. I've checked out Zecco and it SEEMS pretty good. Do you have any first hand experience dealing with them?

I liked Etrade's trading platform, but occasionally trades wouldn't go through for no apparent reason, and trying to get ahold of customer service was a nightmare.

I have used Zecco with no complaints forever.

They are now allowing 10 free trades per month instead of the unlimited, but they are still A+.

Zecco for sure. If you don't like them, Firstrade.

People I know who use Ameritrade seem to be happy with it.

The other online broker I've used is Charles Schwab which sucked. Their trading platform is ridiculous. You have to go through three different "Steps," each one having its own screen, in order to place a trade. Plus, it was more expensive: $25 per trade.
