NL Cash games....Vegas vs LA
What is the most profitable in your opinion, Vegas or LA? I am mainly talking 5/10nl but also 10/20nl as well.
If LA, which casino? I know Commerce has a $400 buy in max which means there is definately going to be much more gambling. Do people still gamble like crazy when they get there stack up to $2k+? |
Re: NL Cash games....Vegas vs LA
LA is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more profitable than vegas will ever be, period.

L.A. and it's not even close.

Re: NL Cash games....Vegas vs LA
I saw pretty soft NL cash games in Vegas at least at 1-2 obviously, but limit LA has to be the way to go, and NL is probably even softer in LA since more moneyed folks around. I was wondering to add to what OP asked, Is Oceans Eleven in San Diego fairly fishy in NL and like mid limits (10-20 and 15-30) or is there not enough rich donkeys around like LA? SD is fairly wealthy too just not like LA, but I'm sure there is money there too I was just wondering

OK, so in LA, which casino is best for 5/10nl? Which is best for 10/20nl?

Re: NL Cash games....Vegas vs LA
Are there good 5/10 NLHE games in LA that don't have ridiculously low maximum buyins?

Are there good 5/10 NLHE games in LA that don't have ridiculously low maximum buyins? [/ QUOTE ] The best structured 5/10NL game in ANY LA casino is the 5/10 game at the Bike. $500 min / no max buy-in. $4+1 drop. No jackpot drop. Just be warned/encouraged that on most nights, this game usually plays fairly deep = average stack size around $3k. By comparison, the 5/10NL game at Commerce is a $400 capped buy in, and they take $5+1 for a drop plus $1 for the jackpot drop = rediculous. Granted, the fish in the game are what makes any game worth playing, but as far as structure alone goes - the Bike has the best 5/10NL game in town. - T |

So Las Vegas NL is tough??
|
Re: NL Cash games....Vegas vs LA
5/10 games are soft everywhere most of the time. LA is definately better but the only 5/10 worth playing is the bike in my opinion. That game sucks balls like 2 nights a week though. As for 10/20 commerce is the only place where there will always be 10/20 spread and the games are ussually amazing.

So Las Vegas NL is tough?? [/ QUOTE ] no, 1-2 and 2-5 is as fishy as youll find anywhere else in america he asked about games ABOVE that, and since the vegas games are mostly tourists...there simply arent as many good games as la has. |

There will inevitably be at least 2 MAJOR donators in most games. So with 1-2 major donators and 2-4 additional soft spots and 2 absolute nitty rocks I would say its a pretty easy game to beat most of the time. |
Re: NL Cash games....Vegas vs LA
When I was at the RIO in Vegas I was talking to this guy from LA. We were playing 4/8 and he told me how the Commerce is rough and blah blah blah. He was a donkomatic too. I want to check LA out now. The hell with dirty Jersey. Foxwoods is the sweetest place on the east coast, but its a dam mission to get there.

Re: NL Cash games....Vegas vs LA
The limit games are pretty tough at Ocean's. Lots of regulars, not too many rich tourists dumping. I'd imagine action is much better in L.A., personally.
