Bonomo Busts On the Final Hand of the Night
Justin Bonomo raises 16,000 preflop and Mike Vela calls on the button. On a flop of AA8 Vela bets 25,000 and Bonomo makes the call. The J hits on the turn and Vela open shoves for over 400,000. Bonomo goes into the tank for about five minutes and then makes the all-in call. Vela flips up AJ and Bonomo tosses his cards face down into the muck. The dealer flips them over and 9-8 sits on the table. The 3 falls on the river and Bonomo is eliminated from the tournament on the final hand of the night. Vela finishes with 676,000.


What kind of call is this?!?!?

Figured someone would say that.... 5 minutes in the tank and calls with pair of 8's why dont you just admit it's a bad call...

Why don't you admit you have no idea what the flow of the table was like, how ZJ was playing, how ZJ's opponent was playing, and that picking out a hand out of context is a really easy way to rip someone's play?

Quick -- someone should make a joke about how ZJ folded an Ace UTG which skewed Vela's range heavily towards bluffs!!
